has handled individual transactions involving the purchase and sale of
small family owned partnerships and corporations and large corporate
transactions valued at more than $800 million. Paul represents banks,
bank holding companies, and investor groups seeking to acquire banks. He
is active in representing parties in the chartering, acquiring, and
selling of banks. He has represented banks and holding companies in
Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. He also represents a local bank in
Windsor, Colorado. His practice includes defending claims against
corporate and bank officers and directors for violation of state and
federal laws and regulations and breach of fiduciary duty. He has
successfully handled a number of federal and state regulatory
enforcement actions.

BankingPaul has provided counsel to institutions under regulatory supervision, loan documentation and workouts, claims under financial institutions and fidelity bonds, and bank versus bank warranty claims. Paul has also handled matters involving forged endorsements, checks, and securities. Paul seeks to build personal and professional relationships with his clients on an on-going basis. One of his clients has been with for more than 35 years and a several of his clients have been with him for more than 20 years.

Small Business
Paul provides corporate and individual clients with legal advice based
on his extensive experience drafting letters of intent, purchase and
sale contracts, employment agreements, non-compete agreements and
retaining executive officers, existing staff accountants and tax advisers. Paul has litigated purchase and sale agreements and
partnership agreements in Northern Colorado.
